a lake has dimensions that are neither visible nor audible. Inside the water, beneath the thin layer of floating plants with no roots anchoring them to the bottom, complex relationships take place between materials. Their manifestations, both at a molecular level and visible to the naked eye, condition or propagate life. Century-old trees shade a partially intelligible ecosystem. Lake Device makes it possible to experience the ecosystem through sound generated by the lake and shaped by the matter that amplifies it, with a view to expanding our understanding and intimacy with non-human entities.
